The optimisations he suggested in terms of cooperation and interaction helped everyone to reflect on their actual position and abilities.

He impresses with his knowledge and empathy.

Former Managing Director of Punkteins GmbH

In coaching, it is particularly important that the chemistry is right and that an atmosphere of appreciation and trust is created between all those involved. However, it is equally important that the coaching is results-oriented, using upstream and downstream methods to ensure that the goal can be achieved. Klaus Zepuntke is one such coach. With his calm manner, experience and positive tenacity, he ensures that the important measures for achieving goals are developed and pursued to the point.

Head of Marketing Hoffmann Messebau Hannover

David Ranft

I always found coaching with Mr Zepuntke to be extremely enriching and highly professional. I was particularly impressed by the fact that Mr Zepuntke could still remember our first collaboration very well even after many years and built on it. The coaching in a complex management structure was direct, consistently positive and solidly Hanseatic. His ability to read between the lines and ask the right questions helped me to reflect on my experiences and develop practical solutions.

Mr Zepuntke manages to create a trusting atmosphere in which you feel you are in good hands. His suggestions and ideas are always practical and have helped me greatly, both professionally and privately.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Mr Zepuntke, especially for managers who work in international corporate structures and are looking for an experienced, empathetic coach.

Klaus Zepuntke’s coaching consistently opens up new perspectives for me in a very short time and helps me to question my own positions and beliefs. The patience and calmness he exudes are extraordinary and, combined with his ability to ask the right questions at the right moment, lead to excellent results that positively influence my life and contribute greatly to my professional success.

Klaus Zepuntke accompanied me for over three years in various roles throughout my professional career and contributed significantly to my development. His calm and objective manner, always paired with a smile, gave me many moments of insight. He always encouraged me to consider other perspectives and step outside my comfort zone. I learned a great deal about myself and my environment. I am very grateful to him for that.

Deputy Head of Department in the service sector

Harald:

I quickly established an effective working relationship with Mr Zepuntke. The inventory of my management structure and managers was particularly effective. This resulted in a plan to develop each individual separately. For me personally, the tip to separate my professional and private life somewhat (telephone numbers/email accounts) was very valuable. What I still use often today is the rule of starting to implement all good intentions within 72 hours.

Plant manager, heavy industry

Kathrin B.

I found the coaching sessions with Mr Zepuntke to be very informal. Mr Zepuntke understands how to read between the lines and asks the right questions. This enabled me to reflect on my experiences and, with his support, develop a plan for moving forward. The suggestions and ideas are very practical and successful, as the feedback from my environment – my colleagues, friends and family – has shown me.

Head of department

J.M.

I have always found the coaching sessions with Klaus Zepuntke to be very enjoyable and enriching. He provides many good ideas and skilfully guides you towards specific solutions by asking questions, rather than succumbing to the temptation to give simple answers himself.

During the coaching sessions, we always got to the exciting points quickly and without unnecessary theoretical superstructure, and worked through them very systematically, which is why I have already recommended Mr Zepuntke as a coach many times within my network.

Managing Director

Marco Naber

Klaus Zepuntke understands complex business issues like no other. Above all, he engages with people and, thanks to his balanced moderation style, creates solutions that were previously unthinkable.

As a personal coach, he clearly shows that everything I can be is already within me. He gives you the courage and strength to break new ground.

A path without Klaus Zepuntke is possible, but much more arduous.

Managing Partner, SIEVERS-SNC GmbH & Co. KG, a company of the SIEVERS GROUP

Gabriele Töpfer-Karara

Klaus Zepunkte accompanied me for several years through a period of constant conflict as the head of a staff unit with a supervisory function.

He conducts coaching sessions with positive, non-confrontational clarity, getting straight to the heart of open and hidden questions and ambiguities. In my responses, I felt completely free and always confident of his support, including in the next steps. I appreciated this immensely, as well as his holistic approach to reflecting on my professional life, the absence of any clichéd methodology in a structured dialogue, and an ever-present spark of Hanseatic humour.

Head of Department

Jan S.

My collaboration with Klaus began during a period when I was faced with a barrage of professional and personal demands and issues. Klaus managed to dispel my initial scepticism in no time at all, and then helped me to sort through and answer these questions myself with intelligently tailored guidance. I particularly appreciate his high level of expertise in the specifics of the media industry, combined with his calm but very consistent approach to his work. In addition, this form of coaching leads with great accuracy to changes that arise from one’s own convictions. In this respect, I am happy to recommend Klaus!

Senior executive, media industry

Dr. Peter Petermann

I worked with Klaus regularly over a period of approximately five years and found his coaching to be extremely constructive and productive. Klaus creates an atmosphere of unconditional trust in intensive discussions. He repeatedly encouraged me to reflect on my behaviour and worked with me to develop action strategies that were very well received in my environment. During our collaboration and afterwards, I was approached by various people about my coach and was always able to recommend Klaus with a clear conscience – I think people in leadership positions in particular benefit enormously from Klaus’ empathetic yet assertive coaching style.

Then: Managing Director and Chief Strategy Officer, Carat Germany

Now: CSO MediaCom China

Reinhard M., Geschäftsführer

I found the coaching to be very open, trusting and engaging. You identified my issues very accurately and reflected on them in a comprehensible way.

You put yourself in the other person’s shoes very well and quickly recognise the “current situation” through active listening and questioning.

From this, you developed very good solutions that can be implemented in a practical and understandable way.

After realising in coaching how important it is to strike a balance between work, private life and personal values, and how to achieve this, I am now much more balanced.

Individual coaching of this kind is a matter of trust. I felt well supported at all times with good insights that helped me.

I would gladly recommend your support to anyone who wants to receive assistance.

Commercial employee, department store retail

Jörn Krogmann

I found Klaus Zepuntke’s coaching to be open, honest and trustworthy. Klaus is very interested in each individual and in understanding and analysing their specific situation.

Klaus Zepuntke develops individual solutions and does not offer off-the-shelf ones. For him, the solution/help is always the priority, not the (commercial) contract.

The added value for me personally was food for thought in the evaluation of human interactions and the constant encouragement to reflect. I received support in the individual development of personal mechanisms for reflecting on situations and deriving actions.

Klaus stands out from the crowd of coaches through his humanity and his genuine interest in his coachees. He is able to quickly gain the trust of the coachees entrusted to him and consolidate it in the long term.

National Sales Manager, Johnson & Johnson

Rebecca Voigt

Klaus Zepuntke has been accompanying me on my professional path as a coach since my studies. At that time, my main focus was on finding the right job and getting off to a good start in my career. Thanks to his open and trusting manner, Klaus was able to give me plenty of food for thought during our conversations, so that I was able to start my first job with confidence.

Today, I use coaching with Klaus Zepuntke to reflect on various situations at work, both in my role as a project manager and in my day-to-day collaboration with colleagues, and to set medium- and long-term goals for my career path. With his extensive experience and targeted methodological approaches, Klaus gives me the opportunity to take a step back from everyday life and look at things from different perspectives, which is particularly important for me in terms of personal development.

Private client

Katja R.

When I took on my first leadership role, coaching with Mr Zepuntke was a great asset and support for me. I remember working with him as a very pleasant, professional and authentic experience. Even when faced with major challenges in my day-to-day management work, I always took away valuable practical ideas and inspiration from the coaching sessions, which strengthened my confidence as a manager. The numerous suggestions from our conversations continued to accompany me on my further path in various companies and leadership roles and repeatedly proved to be very valuable. Anyone looking for a business coach who understands how to accompany a wide variety of leadership issues with a wealth of experience and tact is certainly in the very best hands with Mr Zepuntke.

Self-employed (today) – Head of department (at the time)

Astrid

I found Klaus Zepuntke’s coaching to be very practical, structured and competent. Thanks to Klaus’ many years of experience working with international companies, he is able to accurately analyse the complex challenges that arise and successfully apply his insights in his coaching.

Klaus Zepuntke takes a lot of time to thoroughly analyse the professional and personal starting point and the personal challenges that this presents for the coachee. In doing so, he lays the foundation for jointly developing various solution scenarios.

A particular added value for me was the opportunity to view my own challenges with the necessary distance and from very different perspectives through coaching with Klaus Zepuntke.

I am happy to recommend Klaus Zepuntke because he does not give quick, “well-meaning” advice. He initiates thought and analysis processes that enable the coachee to reflect on themselves and thus gain important insights to master their own challenges.

Manager in the medical technology industry

Dr. Bernhard Hanusch

Coaching sessions with Klaus Zepuntke were always tailored to my individual needs, took place in a pleasant atmosphere and were not only highly engaging, but also had an uplifting and empowering effect.

Klaus Zepuntke is very sensitive to his clients’ concerns and needs. He develops solutions by consensus, questioning everything without reservation. Reflecting on things that seemed immutable often gave me a new perspective on things.

Klaus Zepuntke gave me strength and confidence at an extremely difficult stage in my career. It strengthened and encouraged me to change things and break new ground. Even though that process of change took place many years ago, I am still grateful to him and we remain good friends, even without an ongoing coaching process.

I would recommend Klaus Zepuntke at any time, especially to clients who find themselves in a seemingly deadlocked or hopeless situation. He is certainly able to provide assistance so that you can help yourself.

Head of Process Technology – ANDRITZ Maerz GmbH – Düsseldorf

Oliver

I found the coaching sessions with Mr. Zepuntke, who was recommended to me by close friends, to be very pleasant and helpful in guiding me in the right direction. Mr. Zepuntke worked with me in a structured and focused manner, from taking stock of the situation to jointly developing a solution or alternatives, based on the reason that prompted me to seek coaching in the first place. Mr. Zepuntke analyzed my desire to change from a profession I had been practicing for almost 20 years to what I felt was my true calling in our conversations, which took place in a relaxed atmosphere in his bright offices, easily accessible from both the city and the airport. He asked me questions about my environment, my personality, my surroundings, my willingness to implement change, perceived obstacles, and actual opportunities in my personal circumstances. He also guided me toward accepting coaching in the first place. Even as a consultant myself, this was not easy for me at first.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Zepuntke as a sympathetic and attentive listener who professionally holds up a mirror and formulates his perceptions clearly and concisely. Our coaching process has improved my personal situation to the extent that I am able to focus more closely on my core competencies and channel my desire for change, which has led to a higher level of satisfaction for me.

Attorney at law/Managing Director

Christiane

I found the coaching with Klaus Zepuntke to be very constructive.

I particularly liked his absolutely clear and precise manner with regard to:

Agreements on time and availability

Explanation and transparency of the collaboration, the costs and the expected workload
I found him to be a man who approaches his work with great joy and a lot of positive energy, and I felt truly supported in my process of searching and examining my dead ends.

I also found Klaus Zepuntke to be a knowledgeable coach who supported me with a personal interest in my situation and development process.

It was important that he showed me to appreciate my own strengths and achievements. I also liked the sober and pointed nature of the analysis.

It helped me a lot to talk about the same topic over and over again once a week, as I was caught in a mental and emotional loop. This is not possible in relationships with friends or colleagues. Above all, I learned that it’s okay to be at an impasse – as long as it lasts.

I would recommend Klaus Zepuntke because of his clear, attentive manner and curiosity about his counterpart, as well as his professional, solution-oriented support in difficult work processes.

Managing Director of a medium-sized company in the energy sector

Tim-Alexander Karußeit

The coaching with Mr Zepuntke is highly professional, very effective and extremely helpful. Both on specific occasions and at regular intervals without a specific topic, new aspects and ideas always arise. Highly effective solutions are developed quickly, unbureaucratically and flexibly.

Mr Zepuntke combines specialist knowledge with professional and life experience in a very subtle way. It goes without saying that he prepares for and follows up on the sessions, but this is also expected of the client. Mr Zepuntke uses different methods depending on the coaching situation. In addition to individual and group coaching, shadow coaching is particularly noteworthy.

Even in situations that seem hopeless, coaching with Mr Zepuntke provides new impetus and positive inspiration. I come out of every session feeling stronger.

In addition to his professionally sound approach, it is Mr Zepuntke’s human, sympathetic manner that is always helpful and never know-it-all. I can wholeheartedly recommend Mr Zepuntke as a coach.

Managing Partner

In coaching, Klaus Zepuntke quickly establishes a trusting working atmosphere, which is essential for a successful coaching process. Klaus manages to work towards the core of the issue in a sensitive yet “relentless” manner, thereby achieving a depth in uncovering what is truly essential. The coaching tools offered can always be used flexibly as individual instruments.

There are no MUSTs – there are no SHOULDs – instead, there are many questions on the way to the goal.

Zepuntke’s working style is rather unspectacular, but it is seasoned with a wealth of experience, calmness, clarity and trust. My impression was that only a satisfied client can make Klaus Zepuntke satisfied.

If you are looking for a focused, interested coach who sometimes takes a surprising approach to finding solutions, while also valuing trust, openness and flexibility, Klaus is the right person for you.

I myself took away many enlightening moments and useful analysis methods from our time working together, which can be put to good use in both my professional and private life even after the coaching has ended.

Johnson & Johnson

Petra T.

I met Klaus Zepuntke many years ago during a very challenging phase of my professional life through a recommendation. During our first personal meeting, it quickly became clear that we had good chemistry and wanted to work together in one-on-one coaching sessions. This marked the beginning of a long, often very rocky and painful process of change for me, at the end of which I was able to improve my professional situation in a lasting way. Mr Zepuntke initiated this process for me and guided me through it. His method of choice was to ask questions. Every appointment began with the question: “What can I do for you today?” And I would never have believed what this simple question could trigger.

Mr Zepuntke was a reliable companion throughout this process, always radiating a kind of optimistic serenity. He helped me take the necessary step back so that I could survey the overall situation, reflect on it and determine my position. My own pace was always decisive for the speed of development.

Of course, Mr Zepuntke has mastered the entire range of management tools and is able to convey them. However, what is crucial for me is the authenticity with which he approached me in the coaching process, the impartiality with which he dealt with every type of question and the honesty in his communication.

Member of the management board, IT industry

Christoph Geyer

I found each coaching session with Klaus to be a very productive experience. During each coaching session, but especially over a longer period of collaboration, Klaus develops a process tailored to the personal needs of his client, which never gives the impression of “ready-made solutions,” but always develops individually reflective approaches.

Klaus delegates the further implementation of the results from the coaching process to the client and provides support with analytical advice. He provides support for successful self-monitoring without ever being patronizing, working on an equal footing with his executive clients.

Klaus works in a highly professional manner. He actively develops himself further and is therefore an interesting and, in a sense, new conversation partner at every coaching session, but one who continues to develop what has been worked out previously together and does not constantly open new cans of worms. Klaus prepares excellently for each person and each appointment, and you always receive individual coaching.

Klaus has accompanied me throughout my career for almost 20 years, with varying degrees of intensity. Even though it is difficult to define which of my current qualities as an executive have been shaped by his input, it is clear to me that his reflection and influence have had a profound impact on my development. Klaus is part of my professional, and perhaps also my personal, success.

I would recommend Klaus for the quality and professionalism of his individual coaching sessions as well as his group processes. He quickly recognizes the current situation of individuals and groups and, based on his professional experience, develops tailored approaches that are always individualized and help everyone in the process.

Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and Member of the Global Executive Board of SAERTEX GmbH & Co. KG, Saerbeck (industrial company)

Thomas Bürger

Klaus Zepuntke worked with me during my time as Director of the European Surgical Institute (Johnson & Johnson; approx. 2004 to 2008).

Klaus was my personal coach, as well as the moderator of several development meetings of the European Surgical Institute (ESI) management team and a large workshop with all ESI employees.

Klaus has a pleasantly reserved manner. He accompanies you and acts as a sounding board for reflecting on ideas, wishes, goals and situations.

The value of his coaching lies in helping you to avoid getting tangled up in your own thoughts and, for example, to recognise and question assumptions as such.

If you are looking for an experienced discussion partner who will guide you to your own insights and support you in implementing them, then Klaus is probably the right person.

Despite my move to a new employer and to the south of Germany, I have remained in contact with Klaus. I think that speaks for itself.                 However, it also highlights another important factor in my opinion. I believe it is important to have a “personal connection” with your coach, to be on the same wavelength, so that you can develop trust in your coach. Whether Klaus is the right person for you in this respect is something you can only determine in a conversation.

Director of Training & Education, KARL STORZ GmbH & Co. KG

Monika B., Managing Director

I was fortunate enough to meet Klaus as a coach during a leadership training program at my company, which prepared me for my new role as Managing Director and connected me with other executives in our group. Klaus very carefully moderated and balanced the process between the company’s goals and the personal goals of the aspiring executives. In my opinion, his professionalism and experience with complex organizations were the factors that led to his success in bringing us together as a leadership team. Later, Klaus conducted several team coaching sessions for my company in conflict situations and accompanied change processes. With his support, we became aware of our opportunities and were able to use our strengths much better, which had a positive effect on team spirit and the company’s success. Klaus helped me with some professional decisions in private coaching sessions over the phone, because with his help I was able to work out possible solutions and thus make informed decisions. Working with Klaus has given me valuable insights about myself and further developed my leadership skills. I have recommended Klaus several times because, in my opinion, he not only has a high level of methodological expertise at the cutting edge of the latest research, but also because I experience him as a person with clear values and good personal charisma.

And last but not least, he speaks ‘my language’, which means he can adapt well to me, but also hears what is left unsaid and triggers thought processes.

Corporate customers, service providers and private customers

Holger Ferkinghoff

I found my coaching with Klaus Zepuntke to be a valuable contribution during an important period of orientation in my life, when I needed support that my partner, family, and friends were unable to provide.

First, we had a preliminary discussion to clarify our respective positions, procedures, etc., and to define expectations.

There is a clear and structured approach within the process, e.g., with fixed time slots for questions and answers, both telephone and face-to-face exchanges, and regular feedback rounds. The process needs rules so as not to lose sight of the goal and to follow a clear course.

Mr. Zepuntke has a wealth of professional and life experience. Professional competence is paired with empathy and social intelligence—the discussions are extremely open, intense, and honest. At no point did I feel like I was just a customer; the focus is on the person. The coach was always alert during the conversations and always gave me the feeling that he was 100% interested in me. In developing my prospects after losing my job, the coaching provided me with valuable guidance and reflection.

During the coaching process, I was also able to benefit from Mr Zepuntke’s personal experiences. For example, I withdrew to a retreat in the silent area of a monastery, which was a very impressive experience with great learning potential.

The basis for such a coaching process (which is usually no walk in the park) is unconditional trust, especially in the human competence of the coach.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending Mr Zepuntke for personal coaching!

“…decades of experience in the media and communications scene in Hamburg…”

Michael Deiters aus Langenhagen

The coaching was indeed demanding—and that was a good thing! From day one, the right questions were asked, i.e., questions that were in line with the coaching process. Each meeting was prepared in writing, first by Klaus Zepuntke and then by me. The subsequent face-to-face meetings always took place in a relaxed atmosphere. It went without saying that all content discussed was treated as strictly confidential. Only with mutual consent could a third person be partially involved if necessary.

The work was always professional. This was evident in the fact that Mr. Zepuntke was a very good listener and asked the right questions and actively sought clarification whenever necessary. Klaus Zepuntke was particularly adept at not “selling” me his own opinion or values, but rather we both found the right way to help me recognize for myself what changes were necessary and how these changes could be brought about. The insights covered a broad spectrum: from small, manageable tools for everyday use to a change of strategy in my career and family life.

In short: being able to focus on what is essential again – whatever that may be in each situation. This is precisely what we worked out together. One topic of the coaching was recognizing the balance between work and leisure time. I learned a lot here and can still benefit from it today!

Klaus Zepuntke is simply excellent – that’s it!

At the time of the coaching, he was director of a US software company – now he is managing director of Scanvest Deutschland GmbH.

Dr. W. K.

I have been working with Mr. Zepuntke for many years, both professionally and privately, and have found his coaching to be extremely helpful and supportive throughout. A key feature of his approach is that, over time, I have come to realize for myself what I could or should change or do differently in order to overcome mental blocks and barriers to action without compromising myself or questioning my personal characteristics.

I find Mr. Zepuntke’s approach very pleasant and effective. Even when Mr. Zepuntke has an opinion on certain topics, I am often unaware of it. He takes his time and supports me with questions, comments, and suggestions to analyze problems myself and to seek and find answers.

The greatest added value for me was regaining my natural composure even in extremely stressful situations and being able to concentrate on the essentials with a clear head and new energy. This new lightness helps me to simply navigate around or directly solve problems that previously seemed unsolvable to me.

If you find yourself going round in circles with your thoughts or want or need to make decisions that are also personally stressful, I would recommend coaching with Mr. Zepuntke without hesitation. It is not about short-term advice, but rather a process involving a great deal of self-reflection with the aim of finding your own answers and solutions that are not only appropriate for the situation, but also for you personally.

Founder and medium-sized entrepreneur

Dr. Uwe Linke

I find coaching with Klaus Zepuntke to be trusting, challenging, and individualized. I find Mr. Zepuntke to be a person of absolute integrity, which makes it easy for me to open up—the basic prerequisite for serious coaching. In a very appreciative manner, he is not satisfied with simple, superficial answers—without this friendly insistence, every coaching session would only scratch the surface. Klaus Zepuntke has a wealth of experience and deep knowledge that has never led to a “standard approach”; instead, his methods have always been “just” tools to give me the opportunity to reflect on myself — for me, this is the right approach to do justice to a person as an individual.

Klaus is well prepared, structured, and pragmatic in his work. He is very good at asking the right questions and laying clues. When he has answers/possibilities in mind, he knows how to clearly distinguish them from his questioning approach. Individually tailored to my personal questions and areas of activity, Klaus has remained a curious explorer and researches helpful ideas. He keeps his distance without being aloof, and also shares personal experiences and insights without making them the benchmark.

Without Klaus Zepuntke’s coaching, I would not have achieved this clear—and changing—self-image. I now know what drives me and what holds me back. The coaching inspires me, helps me to recognize “my” goals, and allows me to repeatedly gain distance in order to find harmony with my surroundings. I have become more conscious and consistent, and overall I feel that his coaching has helped me to repeatedly “arrive” at a moving goal. The image of the “three marriages” as a strong anchor in everyday life, the deep understanding of the bond between unconscious and conscious action (according to C. G. Jung), and the power of ‘no’ (what would it mean if we didn’t have a “no” at our disposal at all times?) have helped me greatly.

Freelance coach for agility, innovation, and change

Ralf B.

With his special talent, Mr Zepuntke creates a trusting environment, yet still gets to the heart of the matter. His coaching is goal-oriented and enriching, not only in professional terms. With his help, we have been able to develop a much deeper understanding within the team. Communication has improved significantly.

The collaboration is a great benefit for everyone involved.
